The mobile industry has grown into a monster since the turn of the century. In the 1990′s there were a couple of those huge Motorola and Nokia bricks floating around. The phones however kept evolving and it is not stopping any time soon.

Now there are literally billions of handsets in use around the world. Current smart phones put all of the computers and laptops from 5 years ago to shame with their processing power and amazing graphics. Not even talking about the amazing apps and features on these phones.

Although we will try and stay unbiased about the products out there, there are a couple of toys that we enjoy more than others. We will however try and bring you as much information as possible about the mobile industry and how these phones match up.

A couple of resources we have found to be incredibly informative are:
Mobile Benchmark .net – These guys are run by Passmark Software which is just the ultimate in the rating of all performance related information of mobile devices.
Test Freaks – They have tested just about everything which can pick up a mobile phone signal. They have comprehensive reviews and test on absolutely all smart phones out there.
CNet – How we test – An interesting look into how they test the performance of various devices.
